This butterfly wall art for sale, Silver Spring, is an original mixed media painting. Very dramatic in it's composition. Silver leaf background, where I individually place silver leaves on to the stretched canvas, let it dry and then paint on top of it, to create a multi dimensional background for the painting.
Aftrewards I add individually painted butterflies, so they have a slightly raised look. You can see it in close up photos of the artwork, where the high gloss finish reflects and has that slightly shiny effect and look. High gloss finish also brings the shimmers of silver leaf to life, making it a stunning unique abstract painting. Butterflies are all unique and different: burgundy, purple, rich red and white. I love painting them as every time I create something new and different and not one butterfly is the same!
Square shaped artwork, you can easily place in the house. It is a medium sized original painting and also it would make a beautiful present for a special occassion for your loved one/ones, such as wedding anniversary, birthday present or any other special occasion.
