Summer Forest I and II is an original abstract painting by London-based artist Paresh Nrshinga. Light seems to move through the surface rather than simply sit upon it. Colour and gesture creates a sense of warmth, transition and luminosity, while freer gestures keep the painting alive and prevent the composition from feeling static.
Broad, fluid gestures give the painting its immediate impact, while softer layered passages introduce depth and moments of pause. The eye follows the movement across the surface, discovering changes in density, tone and rhythm that keep the composition active without feeling chaotic.
At 140 × 112 × 4 cm, Summer Forest I and II has enough presence to hold an office, hotel, reception area or other large architectural interior without overwhelming it. Its vertical format draws the eye upward and gives the work a strong sense of presence. It is a work designed to be lived with, revealing different relationships between colour, movement and space over time.
