Creative process
Free and spontaneous but at the same very thought through and very balanced composition. It takes me days and days to create one painting... Just mixing the paints may take a few days. I mix my own paints, stretch my own canvases, "wrapping" a painting in love and care. All paintings are very personal to me. I remember each and every that I painted over the last 20 years! Layer upon layer, letting the paints dry and "sink" into the canvas, adding extra washes and extra touches of brush stroke here and there to make painting alive in your living room.
Appearance of the painting
I hand stretch all of my paintings, all staples are on the back and edge of the canvas is painted. Signature is on the back of the canvas. So the artwork is ready for hanging straight away saving you time and expense of framing. Although saying that, they do look very chic and lovely in a modern "floating" frame.
Finding or choosing the right spot for your art
Square painting are easiest to place: kitchen, living room, hallway, bedroom, nursery, office, game room. The list goes on. Oh, yes, even that large wall you have above the staircase.
