Echoes Of The Storm is an original abstract painting by London-based artist Paresh Nrshinga. The atmosphere is deeper and more dramatic, with a palette of blue, teal, indigo, violet and red creating contrast, tension and a feeling of space beyond the surface. Light and darker passages appear to push against one another, giving the painting a quiet intensity rather than simple decoration.
Layered marks and softened edges give the work a shifting, almost atmospheric depth. Some gestures come forward while others recede, creating a surface that changes with distance and light. The balance between clarity and ambiguity is part of what gives the painting its lasting pull.
At 91 × 122 cm, Echoes Of The Storm has enough presence to hold an entrance hall, long wall or contemporary living space without overwhelming it. Its vertical format draws the eye upward and gives the work a strong sense of presence. It is a work designed to be lived with, revealing different relationships between colour, movement and space over time.
