Echoes of the Sky

Echoes of the Sky is an original abstract painting by London-based artist Paresh Nrshinga. Colour, movement and space are held in careful balance. A palette of blue, bronze, gold, teal and white gives the composition an immediate presence from a distance and a more nuanced character at close range, while the work remains deliberately open to interpretation.

Layered marks and softened edges give the work a shifting, almost atmospheric depth. Some gestures come forward while others recede, creating a surface that changes with distance and light. The balance between clarity and ambiguity is part of what gives the painting its lasting pull.

At 86 × 122 cm, Echoes of the Sky has enough presence to hold a contemporary living space, entrance hall, office, hotel or other architectural interior without overwhelming it. Its vertical format draws the eye upward and gives the work a strong sense of presence. It is a work designed to be lived with, revealing different relationships between colour, movement and space over time.
