Delta Dawn (mixed media) is an original abstract painting by London-based artist Paresh Nrshinga. Light seems to move through the surface rather than simply sit upon it. A palette of brown and gold creates a sense of warmth, transition and luminosity, while freer gestures keep the painting alive and prevent the composition from feeling static.
The combination of materials gives the surface a richer physical presence, allowing reflective and opaque passages to respond differently to light. Texture, colour and mark-making work together, so the painting reveals different details as the viewer moves around it.
At 96 × 96 cm, Delta Dawn (mixed media) has enough presence to hold a contemporary living space, entrance hall, office, hotel or other architectural interior without overwhelming it. Its square format gives the composition a balanced, self-contained presence. It is a work designed to be lived with, revealing different relationships between colour, movement and space over time.
