Captured Dream | Original Painting
Maroon and crimson frame this square like the edges of sleep, while lilac, blush and slate blue drift through the centre. Pale cream breaks the surface into fragments, and fine black drips fall through it as if the dream were still settling.
Paresh works intuitively, building layer over layer and allowing earlier colours to show through. He keeps going until the painting holds a feeling he recognises, even if he could not have named it at the start.
Captured Dream asks you to come close. The longer you look, the more it feels like a memory you are piecing back together, warm, a little mysterious and entirely your own.
At 46 × 46 in, this original acrylic painting on Belgian primed canvas by London-based artist Paresh Nrshinga FRSA has a strong, square presence for a living room or study. The sides are painted, it is ready to hang, and it is signed with a certificate of authenticity.
