Passing Through Light
Across a soft mauve and smoky grey canvas, a stream of colour sweeps from corner to corner: rose, plum and crimson twisted with ochre, muted gold and bright white. Fine dark lines curl through the movement like threads.
Paresh let the brush travel diagonally across the canvas, layering warm colour as it moved. The calm grey around the gesture was kept open, so the colour seems to pass through the space like light through a window.
It is a painting about fleeting moments, the beauty of things that pass and leave a glow behind. It brings warmth and gentle drama to a living room, dining room or office.
At 26 × 40 in, this original acrylic painting by London-based artist Paresh Nrshinga FRSA sits beautifully above a sideboard or console. It is supplied unframed and ready to hang, signed with a certificate of authenticity.
