Dreamscape In Motion

Some paintings arrive like a dream you only half remember. Deep navy and indigo fill the canvas, while silvery black forms sweep in from the upper left like wings in flight. On the right, a burst of luminous green and teal opens up, as bright as sunlight through leaves.

Paresh paints intuitively, following the brush rather than a sketch. Here the layers seem to drift and settle like water, each colour finding its place only when the painting felt right to him.

It is a work for slow evenings. Your thoughts begin to quieten in front of it, and new depths appear as the light in the room changes, so it keeps a little mystery long after it is hung.

This original acrylic painting by London-based artist Paresh Nrshinga FRSA measures 44 × 55 in. In portrait format it brings height and calm to a living room, hallway or office reception, and sits beautifully with dark wood, white walls and soft grey. Signed by the artist, it comes with a certificate of authenticity.
