Waiting For A Star To Fall
Indigo, violet and deep crimson stretch across a long canvas like a night sky in motion, scattered with bright white and lilac strokes that flicker like shooting stars. Touches of rose and magenta glow through the darker blues.
Paresh let the brush travel in quick, curving gestures from one end of the canvas to the other. The stars were never placed; they appeared as the movement built, each flash of white landing on instinct.
It is a painting about making a wish and believing it might come true. Above a sofa or bed it brings a little magic to the evening, and a quiet sense of hope.
At 30 × 72 in, this original acrylic painting by London-based artist Paresh Nrshinga FRSA is made for a long wall. The sides are painted, it is supplied unframed and ready to hang, and it is signed with a certificate of authenticity.
