Paresh Nrshinga FRSA Studio notes
A Note from
the Studio
Painting has always felt more natural to me than trying to explain what I paint. Colour, texture and movement allow me to express things that don't always have words.
Much of my life as an artist happens quietly in the studio. I rarely begin with a complete picture of where a painting will go. One colour leads to another, a single brushstroke changes the balance, and the work gradually finds its own direction. That sense of discovery is what I enjoy most.
A painting can mean something very different to the person looking at it than it did to me when I made it. I like that. Once a work leaves the studio, it becomes part of another space and another person's everyday life. It might bring energy to a room, offer a moment of calm or simply make someone stop and look a little longer.
Over the years, I've been fortunate to see my paintings find homes in private collections, workplaces and carefully designed interiors. I'm grateful to everyone who has visited an exhibition, commissioned a piece, collected a painting or followed the work from afar. Your interest and encouragement have meant a great deal to me.
The work continues to evolve, as it should. New ideas, different moods and unexpected moments find their way onto the canvas. What remains constant is the pleasure of making something original, and the possibility that it will connect with someone else.
Thank you for being part of that.
